[TCARC-NTX] Another survey

Please take a minute to let me know your ham radio interests.

1. What do you hope to gain from your membership in TCARC?

I agree with Jerry; these are important. Camaraderie, a strong disaster
communications team for the area, sharing and helping with projects and
questions.

2. What are your interests in ham radio?

I have participated in several events, but not enough to say that I am
confident enough to lead. I will follow. And I would like to do some of
the Rag chewing, home-brewing, portable operation, public service,
contesting, building electronic kits related to the club interests, etc.,
while learning more about, dx, nts, qrp, as time permits. Now finding the
money and time, is another thing.

3. What modes of operation do you enjoy?

 I'm not sure, being I only operate on the 144-147 band.

4.  Are there any particular functions, activities or projects that
you'd like to take on as a club?

I agree with Jerry; we need to Build a good ARES presence, more social
events (picnics, Christmas party, etc.) with casual operating, as at a
picnic or camp-out.

5. If you could change one thing about the club, what would you change?

A better meeting place, one that is quieter.
