[TCARC-NTX] 50 mile running event

This is a reminder to all that the Club has before it for your consideration,
participation in providing communications for a 50 mile running event in the
LBJ Grasslands on March 20, 2004.

It was agreed at the last meeting that all members would consider whether they
can commit to making the event, and would inform me by or at the December
meeting in order that I can reply to the sponsor of the event to let them know
if we can help them out.

This event happens the same date as the horse and buggy event in 2004, so in
order to cover both events I would need a total of 25 volunteers with 10 who
can commit to the Grasslands Run.

Please think this over during the next week, and let me know either via radio,
email or at the meeting.  If the Club commits to do both of these events, we
must count on 100% participation from those who commit, so consider that in
making your decision.
