Thanks, I don't know what we could do with APRS at this time, do you have
any ideas on it's use in a race like this?

I'd be glad to help.  The call is kb0nec, shirt size is 2X and would
APRS be of help.  I have a laptop set up to receive APRS and my truck is
rigged with a GPS.
