KC5SLQ will be there too...

My normal kit for operating, James, goes something like this:

Fanny pack with HT, charged battery, lighter socket adapter, wall wart
charger, spare gel cell battery for extra long life, bnc to so-239 adapter,
magnet mount 5/8 wave antenna, notepad, pen, earphone adapter, bottle of
water, disposable toilet seat covers (I hate sitting in a chem can), chewing
gum and a snack.

I check the radio a couple days in advance to make sure it is working
correctly, and I check the antennas for resonance.
