[TCARC-NTX] Tri-County ARC assists Shuttle Recovery

Tri-County Amateur Radio Club of north Texas has been called on through the
Dalls County and Tarrant County RACES organizations to assist in the Shuttle
Disaster Response in Nacogdoches.

The key assistance Tri-County ARC will provide is their portable command
center, which is an office trailer equipped with radios, desks and
computers.

David Johnson KB5YLG, Thomas Dunn KD5UEP and Paul Finch WB5IDM, spent part
of Tuesday preparing the equipment for the trip.

Volunteer radio operators are sought, as well, contact David Johnson

The Tri-County ARC Portable Communications Center will be used at the
Nacogdoches Convention Center to facilitate Radio Net Control for the
expected several weeks of the Shuttle Disaster Response effort.
