Dan,

I am a new ham, at long last. Many years back I bought and built from kits
a Conar Novice class transmitter and receiver. The receiver was damaged by
a lighting strike and the insurance company at the time kept it. The
transmitter is crystal controlled cw only and works (or should work) on 80,
40, and 15 meters. It has never been connected to an antenna and I am not
sure if any of the adjustments made during the building process still hold.
If you have access to some test equipment and would like this unit for your
club, I can let you have it at no cost other than coming to pick it up.

73 and good luck with the new radio club.
