Jerry and Jim,

As a matter of fact I do. I went and rounded it all up last night after
seeing this email. It's not the prettiest thing in the world, but it should
work fine, and it has 2 NiMH batteries that are less than 6 months old (the
radio is about 17 years old, but works good!). It's a Kenwood TR-2500.

Also Jerry, I had not volunteered for the event yet due to the fact that I
wanted to make sure I could get it in my schedule. It looks like I'll be
free in the morning. Would you still need my help in the morning? If so, I
can do a morning shift. I also have a buddy (licened amateur) that may be
able to help in the morning if we need him as well.

Jim - Let me know how you want to coordinate getting the talkie if you want
to use it.

Let me know.

Thanks.

Hi Jim,

The Special Olympics bicycle race event is tomorrow, Saturday, April 12 from
0830-1600. The location is the BNSF Railway Campus, located on Western
Center
between I-35W and FM156 in northwest Fort Worth.

We can use all volunteers, especially in the afternoon. An HT is a
requirement, so I'm asking here if any of the other TCARC club volunteers
have
a spare one that you can use!
