The meeting was called to order at 1917 hours by President Daryl Pate.
Daryl extended greetings to all in attendance.
Daryl noted that it is past time to pay dues, if anyone has not done so yet.

Daryl announced that emergency power is encouraged to be used for those
checking in on the club net, the last Thursday of March.
Minutes from the February meeting were ready by Jerry.
David made a motion to accept the minutes as read, Mark seconded. Passed.
Treasurer's report presented by C.J.
Motion to accept by David, seconded by Shura. Passed.
Daryl gave his President's report:
David will give a presentation on the space shuttle Columbia recovery effort,
at this meeting.
Next month (April) Braz W5KCL will give an IRLP (internet radio linking
project) presentation.
Daryl would like to invite an airline pilot to give a presentation on ATC
communications.
Daryl is continuting to send out club brochures and business cards.
There was a good turnout by club members, at the horse and buggy event today.
Announcements:
Alan Allmand N5CA's son Kyle died recently.
There is a program on shortwave radio on 9.745 MHz on Saturdays at 1900 hours
local, lasting about 30 minutes, about ham radio.
The second Saturday of the month is the Hardin sidewalk sale.
A ham radio class will be held March 15 at the Lajunta Baptist Church, contact
David KB5YLG for info.
The Weatherford Hamfest is March 22.
NCTECH is November 8.
There will be a microwave/laser seminar from 7 to 10 PM in at Handley Baptist
Church on March 15, $2.00 admission, contact KC5LLU (phone number withheld
from this email) to RSVP. Talk in on 145.33
The ARRL Internation DX Phone Contest is this weekend.
The club fising trip is next weekend (March 8) at Lake Whitney.
The Irving Hamfest is march 18 from 0800 to 1400 hours at Betcha Bingo in
Irving, admission $4.00.
There is a morse code net on Tuesday at 1900, frequency 7.107 MHz.
The Special Olympics bicycle event at BNSF Campus is April 12, contact Jerry
N0JY.
May 17 is the Azle Lake Run.
David KB5YLG gave a presenation on the space shuttle debris recovery effort.
Paul motioned to donate the pass the hat monies to Alan Allmand for his son's
funeral. Cindy seconded. Passed.
Committee reports:
Field Day - nothig to report, suggestions of a full-time digital station this
year.
NCTECH - meeting schedule is on the reflector, 3rd Saturdays.
EOC - David will talk with Azle Monday regarding organization and callup.
Trailer - sign moved David will meet with Keith.
Looking for a new trailer, it was suggested to hold a meeting to plan for what
to look for in a new trailer.
The callup (for club meetings) list is yet to come.
Old Business:
NCTECH committee going strong.
The club website has been updated and has a new calendar.
New Business:
The club fishing trip is the equivalent of the club picnic.
Fee still needs to be paid for the club web domain names.
Pass the hat netted $80.
Door prizes were awarded.

hours.
