[TCARC-NTx] JOTA and Azle Jumping Jack Jamboree

Hello TCARC,

We have a slot for the Jumping Jack Jamboree, now what are we going to do
with it?  We will be right next to the Boy Scout booth and in front of the
Masonic Lodge, they have restrooms available!  Let me know if you have any
literature and possible ideas.  We can run the whole thing off my new
generator or possibly off the Lodge AC, that is we don't have to run the Air
Conditioner.

We will be doing to JOTA here at my place again, that is if there are no
other choices.  Maybe we should see if Kmart or Brookshire's would let us
set up in their parking lot?  Any ideas?  I know that Brookshire's manager,
I can ask him for permission.

JOTA is 19th and 20th of
October. The official start time is 0001 local on the
19th but the
ARRL site says that a practical start time is Saturday
morning and
goes to some time Sunday or even Monday to take
advantage of
propagation and time diffrences (official 2359 on the
20th Sunday).
This is not a contest and the scouts would do most of
the QSO's.
