Jerry are you talking about FM or SSB?
There is a good 6m repeater in Ft. Worth on 53.15 (-1.0 MHz) PL 110.9
and some of the other repeaters in the area have remote bases that
are dialed up on 52.525 sometimes. I know there are lots of people
around here that run FT-100s or IC-706s mobile (unfortunately I'm
not one of them yet).
