Hello all, I hope everyone is doing well today.  This
is a summary of the Thurs. night net announcements for
June 13, 2002:

check ins-

First we had a new check-in, n5gmj Chris, who has been
listening for a couple of weeks and decided to check
in last night.  We welcome Chris and hope to see him
for field day.

Annoucements:

Field day June 22-23, 2002 1pm to 1pm local time at
Ash Creek Park in Azle, behind the police station just
off Hwy. 199.  The club is providing food Sat.
evening.

n0jy talked to Julie from the Star-Telegram and she
said she will be visiting and taking pictures. 
Everybody be on the lookout and welcome her.  This is
a great opportunity to increase public awareness to
the amateur radio "hobby".

Alan, n5qez, will be leaving us to do his residency in
Corpus Christi, Tx.  We will miss him.  Good luck,
Alan.  Come visit us as often as you can.

Paul, wb5idm, is bringing generator power to field
day.

Paul, wb5zis in Watauga has a new tower up and sounds
good.  Everybody aim your beams toward Watauga and
tell him hello.

I hope I got all the announcements in.  Also, if I got
any call signs wrong, please let me know so I can
correct them on my call in sheet for further
reference.
