[TCARC-NTx] ground for power supply

Alan,
No problem, the negative side of the power supply output terminals is what
they are talking about. If I know Walt's power supply it has a hard ground
to the ground lug of the AC plug. In most cases that is pretty good but a
separate ground wire going outside to a ground rod would be better to
protect your Ham Shack investment. The bigger the better on the rod and the
cable between the supply and the ground rod. Even with that I would suggest
that you should disconnect all your radios in a lightning storm, feed all
antennas to the ground, including the center conductor and go with a hand
held radio if you can get to your favorite repeater without the outside
antenna. A small, car style antenna on a good ground plane in the attic
would work also to extend your range, maybe a mag-mount antenna on your air
conditioner air handler in the attic? Something like that.

Ok, I know I'm going to get ribbed hard on this one
but I need help so I don't blow up radios. My radio
manual says make sure the ground terminal of the power
supply is grounded. Ok, do they want the negative
post of the power supply connected to the grounding
wire or is there some other terminal to look for. For
those of you locally, I have a Walt Williams power
supply. I see the positive and negative posts. I
don't see anything else that would be labeled
"ground". If anyone can help I would appreciate it.
