That's all that volunteered so far?  What's the hold up people, let's do our
radio thing for the admiring public, and add to the reasons to keep our
bands.  Every little bit counts.  Not only that, this is a pretty cool
event!

Just sign up, show up, bring radio...the rest is natural, you'll see.

Here is the latest lineup, and directions for how to get to the event.

The event is Saturday, March 2.

David, can you bring the club trailer?

Everyone bring your freshly charged HT and spare batteries, and looking at
the
weather, some warm clothes and a snowsuit!

Lunch is provided, about 11AM.

Talk in on the Azle repeater, 147.16+ 110.9pl for the 7AM crew.  If we have
two radios we can talk in the 10AM crew on the repeater too, else use the
simplex frequency below.

Working frequency at the event will be the club frequency, 147.42 simplex.
Net control will use the club call, WC5C.

We have 7 volunteers for the event.

Directions from Azle
199 to Springtown
Right on FM 51 North about 8 miles to FM 2123
Left on FM 2123 about 4 miles to Cottondale and FM 3585
Left on FM 3585 about 1/2 mile to T intersection
Right at the T (still FM 3585) about 1/2 mile to the location.

(The location is on the right, there should be signs, where FM 3585 curves
left.)

Directions from Boyd
114 West about 5 miles to FM 51
Left on FM 51 South about 1 1/2 miles to FM 2123
Right on FM 2123 about 4 miles to Cottondale and FM 3585
Left on FM 3585 about 1/2 mile to T intersection
Right at the T (still FM 3585) about 1/2 mile to the location.
