Saturday night my UHF/VHF mobile radio was stolen from an address on
Greenville
Ave. in Dallas.  It is programmed with all the usual repeater frequencies.

Please be aware if any of you should hear someone transmitting without a
call
sign claiming to have a 'new CB,' etc.

This theft was promptly reported to the Dallas PD.

Since the radio also transmits packet - - users of packet should also be
aware of
any transmission claiming to be from my call sign, N5GAR.

Other things were stolen along with the radio.  I'll discuss this in
private.

Anyone with information about transmissions that are reasonably believed to
be
coming from my stolen radio should contact the Dallas PD first, and me
second.
Do not approach the user.
