Great job Alan, thanks. I for one appreciate your summary on the reflector,
very nice for those of us who could not attend the net for whatever reason.

I would plan on attending by Yahoo Messenger relay if anyone wants to try
that...

I think the best way to get signups for the equestrian event is to jot down
which jobs are included, which hours they are needed for each, which
equipment is needed for each,
and start filling in callsigns as they are assigned. Then call each and
every member of the club by telephone and give them a chance to sign up.
Anyone who wants to get their favorite position needs to get signed up
earlier, not waiting for the calls to start.

Let's show up organized, ready, equipment working, and have a great time!
The equestrian events ( horse and buggy races ) are an interesting way for
us to provide an important service thereby earning the right to keep our
frequency bands for amateur radio.

I'm looking forward to it.

Anouncements:
Equest. Event March 2, 2002 7am-3pm. We'll keep this
in front of everyone so we get signed up to help out.

Daryl stated he had business cards made up for club
members to hand out. He stated he would hopefully
have these get to the next club meeting.

Also, Daryl said we ARE on El Paseo's list for the
remainder of the year. Please tune into the net for
updates!

Daryl also let us know that he's working getting
someone to come and talk to the club about IRLP. That
should be fun.
