[TARA] Meeting Tomorrow and Events

Hey all,

We will be holding a meeting tomorrow, the 29th, at 7pm in SAC room 212.

On the 9th of April, the NM QSO Party will be happening. For those 
unfamiliar, it is a yearly event where ham radio operators or clubs try 
to make as many contacts as they can in a single day. There is a whole 
point system and awards, but TARA mostly does it for fun. We are 
planning to run a station next to Fidel off batteries and a solar panel 
and anyone interested is welcome to stop by. I will send out more 
information as the date draws closer; in the mean time, here is a link

For those of you looking to get licensed or upgrade, there will be a 
testing opportunity in Socorro next month. Once I get a flyer for the 
event, I will pass it on to you. Be aware that the FCC was changed how 
getting a license/upgrading works. As we get closer to the date, we will 
hold cram sessions where we will go over the changes.
