Dear Members,

The New Mexico QSO Party will be this saturday! It is an international
"party" over the air by the virtues of radio communication! The QSO party
is a great opportunity to try to make contact with other hams not only from
all over the US but the world abroad as well. The best part is that if you
want to participate but don't have your license, you can still do so under
the TARA club station license. *Our club's good friend and mentor, Bill
Heller, will be opening the club room to club members at 9:00 AM on this
Saturday for all that want to participate in the fun! *You can read more

Our goal is for each of New Mexico?s 33 counties to have as many hams as
possible operating during the event.  We still have a few empty counties to
fill on the map, and some counties needing additional operators.

Do you plan to participate...even if just for a short while?

If so, please let us know what county/counties you may operate from.  Even
if your plans are just tentative at this point.  This information stokes
participation from around the nation and helps the event's dedicated mobile
operators plan their routes around the state to activate counties needing
more activity for all to enjoy.

This is a super event for new and experienced hams alike. Operate from the
comfort of your home, combine forces (safely) with hams in your club as a

category.

Hi Joseph,? ? ? ?As I have moved recently?to Washington State my rig is still boxed and yet to put up the?antenna. So regret to inform you that I?can?t even?monitor the QSOs. Anyway I am actively working towards to?deploy a new antenna at new QTH soon.
