We've had great success in the past with NMT students in this position, and hope to repeat the success. The position is an excellent one for any EE or Physics undergraduate student (Sophomore/Junior preferred) who has an interest in RF, signals intercept, identification, and analysis. I've been using the following detailed description this year: ________________________________________________________________ Work at the world's most productive astronomical observatory, the Very Large Array (VLA) radio observatory. Founded in 1956, the NRAO provides state-of-the-art radio telescope facilities for use by the international scientific community enabling forefront research into the universe at radio wavelengths. In partnership with the scientific community, we also train the next generation of scientists and engineers, and promote astronomy to foster a more scientifically literate society.
