Let's meet in the commons of Fidel at 7PM and then walk over to the radio room to show everyone where it is. We will discuss projects and goals this semester, and officer elections. This semester will hopefully consist of high speed data wireless linking, getting an HF station setup, and more DIY projects, but we will decide discuss all of that tonight. Hope to see you at 7PM tonight. We are meeting in the Fidel Commons and then walking to the radio room. Let me know if you need more instructions finding it DMR stands for Digital Mobile Radio and is an "open" standard for digital voice communications used almost entirely in Europe and growing rapidly in the United States along with Project 25. Motorola has developed products using this standard under the name MOTOTRBO but today we will be playing with a home brew implementation of a repeater. DSTAR stands for Digital Smart Technologies for Amateur Radio. Bill might bring in some Mesh Networking equipment to finish off what we looked at last week so might have a look at that too. Hope to see you all tonight at 7PM Skyler From skyler.fennell at student.nmt.edu Thu Sep 28 13:10:25 2017 From: skyler.fennell at student.nmt.edu (Skyler NMT) Date: Thu, 28 Sep 2017 11:10:25 -0600 Subject: [TARA] No TARA meeting tonight Message-ID: I will be unavailable tonight, and don't have anything new this week.
