[TARA] Meeting Tonight and NM QSO Party

Hi Everyone,

We will have the regular radio club meeting tonight at 7PM @ the SAC.

Tonights discussion will be the New Mexico QSO party. This is a large event
where people around the nation are attempting to contact New Mexico. It is
a radio contest, but also a fun event to get experience on the Lower
Frequency HF bands, and set up equipment.

For the 2017 NM QSO party (Saturday April 8th) We are privileged to have
permission to operate from South Baldy (Near the Magdalena Observatory),
and it is just a small hike up from the gate where we will be operating
portable. The club will provide some form of food, and will be looking
forward to anyone who is willing to join.

The event is officially from 8:00AM to 8:00PM, but that doesen't mean we
will be there the whole time, I would like to start as early as possible in
case there is some afternoon weather, so I will be driving up at 6:30 AM to
setup and have room for 4 other people. I will see if I can arrange any
other rides for those who want to head out later in the day.
