[Tandy] More feedback from RS on the HTX-420 (19-1108)

I've gotten quite of bit if email back from RS HQ folks about the
availability.  I guess my question about: "Do you really want to sell
these..." did tickle somebody.

I've found that it's not typical of RS to respond to anything, other than
product support, so quickly.

Latest response from RS HQ:

1.) We have arranged for expedited handling of this radio and hope to begin
    shipments to stores in early August.

2.) Shipment of the HTX-420 Amateur Radio (190-1108) was delayed due to a
problem with the packaging.

3.) We can only suggest that you work with your local RadioShack store for
this information.  There are several distribution centers within the
RadioShack warehousing system, and these are the sources your local
RadioShack store works with for this type of information.

4.)  Li-ion battery pack

5.) Noted author and ham radio school operator, Gordon West, WB6NOA, wrote a
terrific review on this radio which will appear in an upcoming issue of CQ
magazine - he was delighted with
    the radio and in the review, includes a section on working the "FM
friendly" Amateur Radio Satellites.

The Radio also received excellent reviews from Trade Shows.
