Hi Kurt .....
I'll see if I can find the recording when you called ..... I think I
had the recorder turned on with the logging program. At least you'll
see how loud you were here! Had a few comments on how good I
sounded for QRP, but I had problems running this year - I could hold a
frequency for awhile, but no replies. Not like other years.
The KE0Z/VE4 was easy .... The VE8 and VY1 took awhile. I thought the
pileups on the VO1's were massive - both AI and MP. That was the only
section I didn't work for a sweep!
I think K8MM beat me by a hundred or so QSO's .... But I think he
probably stayed in the chair for a few more hours than I did! I was
surprised at the number of Q stations I worked - seemed to be more
than the last two years. I'd have used packet, but that would mean
the unlimited class and I'd loose the QRP identity!
