This Thursday, we'll revive the Grandfather of NS, the INTERNET SPRINT.
This was a two hour, two band sprint invented by N6TR, and it ran for a
couple of years in the '90s; AUG. 28 local date in North America; Aug.
29 UTC.
Rules are basically those of NS, but with THREE INTERVENING QSOs before
duping on the same band, 20 and 40m only.
1Khz QSY before calling, 5 Khz before CQing.
-- Start 0230Z (1930 PDT, 2030 MDT, 2130 CDT 2230 EDT)
Modified NS RULES: DUPES OK on same band with THREE INTERVENING QSOs,
100 watts max. (Note that this means a "legal dupe" is the FOURTH QSO
after you worked the station the first time on the same band.)
BANDS: 20 & 40m, 14035-14045, 7035-7040, mults count on both bands.
The SLOW SPEED CW NS practice continues: 02-0215Z on Thursday; 20, 40,
80m CW, dupes OK with ONE intervening QSO.
