Hi Ian,

600 ohm open line feeders is the only way to go as far as I am concerned. I 
run full power into my 80 meter inverted "V", and I don't have any RFI 
issues using the open wire. As for home brewing it, I was going to do the 
same, but for what W7FG sells it for, it didn't make sense to home brew, so 
I bought mine from him. Check out, www.w7fg.com.
