As in the past years, everyone is invited to stop out at the
Field Day site at the Burtchville Township Park.

Friday: AC8W, K8DD & K8WMW will be at the park in the
afternoon - probably around 4 or 5 PM - looking around
to see where the antennas will go. Stop in and offer your
opinions!

Saturday: Setup should begin about 9:00 AM at the park.

Field Day starts at 2 PM (1800 UTC)

Sunday: Field Day ends at 2 PM (1800 UTC) and tear down
begins. Takes about a 60 to 90 minutes.

Field Day is coming! June 23 - 24th
Same location as last year - Burchville Twp Park.
 http://www.k8dd.com/files/tac has information and
maps how to get there.

We have lost a couple of ops in the past year ....
John K8JM moved to SW Ohio for work.
Buck N8CQA became a silent key.

In the past we have had a 2A Field Day, a combined
EMARC and TAC Field Day and that has worked out
quite well.

If you don't have any plans for FD, or don't want to
drive a long distance, or don't have a club to go to
FD with, how about coming out to the EMARC / TAC
Field Day. Even if you have to drive a long distance,
how about coming out to the EMARC / TAC FD?!!?
Let me know if you're thinking about coming out and
I'll put you on the list!

At this point the plans are to have two stations. Each
with a laptop running WriteLog and networked together.
Easy to operate - there will be help to show you how it
works - memory keyer for the CW ops, radio control, etc.
It's so easy even Stan and I can figure how to make it
work!
So far the antennas planned are:
40M - Half wave dipole, 2 element wire beam.
80M - G5RV
20 - 15 - 10M - a 2 element yagi on a 30' mast.
                      - possibly a 3 element TA-33 yagi on a tower.
6M - 3 element yagi on a 30' mast.
