*    I talked with Christina today at Maxotel. This time her French put 
me under the table. It turns out she speaks English much better than I 
speak French at this time.*
*    1. We have 4 studios reserved at Maxotel from 21 Nov to 30 Nov for 
6 people. She did not need the names of everyone, but took mine as the 
representative. If we add anyone, we can increase the number and I can 
do that via email.*
*    2. The mini-plane. In our conversation Christina asked me if we 
were shipping anything in advance. I said, "No". She cautioned me that 
the plane from St. Pierre to Miquelon is small. She thinks it's a 
9-seater. It may be necessary to use more than one flight for our 
material. Christina sounded surprised when I said we were told we 
couldn't make our reservations for the flights to Miquelon until October 1.*
*    3. The boat. Maybe some of us already knew this, but I learned also 
that the boat sails only on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. It makes 2 
round trips. It departs St. Pierre at 8:30 A.M. and 3:30 P.M.  *
*    4. Departure. Christina suggests we think about departure from 
Miquelon on Tuesday by boat, in the event that the plane can't fly on 
Wednesday due to weather which would mess up our overall return to Detroit.*

My thoughts on this are:
Several of us - probably 4 - take the plane on Monday with as much 
"stuff" as possible.
Two of us - maybe Stan and I - stay in St Pierre overnight and take the 
ferry the next morning.
The Miquelon group meets us at the ferry and has transportation to get 
the rest of the "stuff" to the Maxotel.
