The WNEM transmitter site near Indiantown is fine for any of
this...secure, potty's, etc. Plus Kw's of RF.
Remember...next week I am off....

I will be on vacation this Fri Oct 14 thru Saturday Oct 22. Please
leave a message on my home phone 989 7903059 if anyone is getting
together on Sunday the 23rd. Home Email BTW is surmamjg at aol.com; I
check it very spottily.

How about next week, Mon, Tue, or Wed we get together and find a park
and put up some antennas. That would give whoever shows up a chance
to see how the Spiderbeam goes together, and if we have time we can
put the TA33JR together and stick it up on a mast.
And if there is time, try a half square on 40M with the DK9SQ masts.
I figure 2 hours each to assemble the two beams and one hour each to
put them up on masts and then 1 hour for the half square.
There are parks near here that we could put them up ..... I don't know
if there is anything between here and Saginaw - any ideas Greg? Or
somewhere south of Flint and maybe Kurt and Ted could make it?
That would also give anyone who shows up to voice their ideas on the
antennas and how we are going to distribute the weight! If each of us
can handle two check-on's (one for clothes and one for
radio/antenna/etc) and a carry-on, we might make it without too much
of overweight charges.
Comments?
