Hi Greg

Having been through this I know how excited you are to be nearing

departure date. I believe that a 220V soldering iron previously

was left at the Maxotel by Paul and Peg but we never looked for it

as we were totally self sufficient. Now wish we had left much of our

stuff there but at the time we did not really think much of the
possibilty of

returning or others using it. I would think that the hardware store
might

have what you need for soldering but I cannot say for sure as I did not

really look around that closely...I wanted to get back and on the
radio...hi.

Have a great trip....good luck and hope to work you on many bands.
