Just spent a couple hours looking at a lot of options!
Arrive Halifax on Nov 20.  Arrive Miquelon Nov 21
Leave Miquelon Nov 30
Getting to Halifax and back is the big question!
I think it can be done for $125 to $130 a day flying the whole way.
Or $100 a day driving to Halifax and flying to Miquelon.
Driving will probably take of 4 days.

Driving to Halifax
According to Microsoft Streets and Trips
     1313 miles  2 days, 4 hours, 34 minutes based on 8 or 9 hours 
driving per day
     And it would be a 40 mile side trip along the way to ARRL HQ!
     $164.18 each way gas costs based on $2.50 per gallon and 20 miles 
per gallon
     First night near Pittsfield, MA  Second night 1/4 of the way across 
New Brunswick
     Motels at around $70 per night
