Merely being DX doesn't necessarily make QSOs:

T88BH (OH2BH), Martti Laine, reports N4GN, Tim Totten, has arrived in
Palau and will increase the activity. 30 meters has been the only
usable band toward North America and they will continue running there
most days starting around 1100Z. "The resort machinery creates a lot
of noise thus hearing USA is difficult", say Martti. Signals have
been weak but Sunday he managed to pull out 91 U.S. stations, but only
30 yesterday. The bands have been generally lousy however they have
some 6,000 QSOs in total. Today the team will set up a second
operating site. JF1IST, Jin, arrived early today and plans to put up
a 75 meter antenna. So it might be a good idea to look for one of the
T88 team members today around their sunset (0737Z) or after. Martti
also mentioned the locals wondering why OH2BH is always suffering and
looking tired in the morning, yet seems to be "back on his feet at
1100Z". QSL via OH2BN.
