Yes...that would be ideal!
At home I'm limited to the 300'...but what a difference it makes,
especially on 40 and 80. The horizontal 2 el job on 40 picks up too
much high angle stuff...the beverage has the high angle discrimination
that is needed.
Any and all yellow tape will be acceptable!

Greg,
I'm not familiar with your listening antenna setup there. However, you
got me to thinking that if you are using an unterminated
(bi-directional)
beverage, I wonder if it could be center fed, 300' or so each side? You
could get twice as much wire up, depending on the lay of the land, and
still keep the feedline pretty short. It might narrow the beamwidth
some,
which I guess could be good or bad, depending. Just a thought.
Oh, how about yellow "caution" tape instead? Dunno if you'd get in
"Dutch" (sorry) with the French gendarmes for that "police line" tape.
:-)
(Ted will tell you that I'm a worry wart, so I'm probably in "wart"
mode.)
I have some caution tape that I'll be happy to contribute to the cause.
Of course, it's in english.
73, Jeff
