I'm not familiar with your listening antenna setup there. However, you
got me to thinking that if you are using an unterminated (bi-directional)
beverage, I wonder if it could be center fed, 300' or so each side? You
could get twice as much wire up, depending on the lay of the land, and
still keep the feedline pretty short. It might narrow the beamwidth some,
which I guess could be good or bad, depending. Just a thought.
Oh, how about yellow "caution" tape instead? Dunno if you'd get in
"Dutch" (sorry) with the French gendarmes for that "police line" tape. :-)
(Ted will tell you that I'm a worry wart, so I'm probably in "wart" mode.)
I have some caution tape that I'll be happy to contribute to the cause.
Of course, it's in english.
