I sent K8NA an email asking him if he would be the QSL Manager for:
FP/AC8W FP/K8AQM FP/K8DD FP/K8GL FP/K8MM
Here is Ted's response:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello OM Mighty Grand Old Duck!
Yes, I am the QSL Manager for KH2D and NO7F/KL7 aka NO8F (IOTA NA059).
I don't do eQSL and Logbook of the World. I do it the old fashioned way,
real genuine QSL Cards Only. I am also getting tired of the bureau system.
I keep getting multiple duplicate bureau cards for the same QSOs.
Also many many guys send direct and via the bureau for the same QSOs.
If you want to do it the old fashioned way, I can do it!
Can you send electronic log files that I can import into BV Ver. 7

eQSL and LOTW would be up to the individual.
We can get cards printed up as a group with all 4 calls on them or we
can each
get our cards printed up and get them to K8NA.
The announcements to the DX Bulletins will have to say "DIRECT ONLY to K8NA"
To use BV Label Management we each will have to supply Ted with an ADIF file
for him to import into BV.
The only question I asked him is how, as a QSL Manager he handles cards
whose
call is off by one or two dits or the call has a couple of letters
transposed?
Or zero for oh?
I would think that any cards that he does not answer for any of these
reasons he
could put in a pile and give them to the operator for their personal
preference.
So based on that, do we want to use Ted K8NA as our QSL Manager? I
believe it
must be unanamous, but I will leave that open for discussion.
Comments?
