[Swan] 500CX Mars Special?

Hello,

    I just started looking at a Swan 500CX that I purchased in a large lot
of estate equipment.  I am puzzled by different badging on the front panel.
The normal Swan 500CX plate is below the main tuning knob.  In the normal
spot for the name plate, just below the meter, is an equally factory looking
plate that says Swan Mars Special.  

    I can't find any information on this Mars Special.  Does anyone have any
information as to how this is different than a normal 500CX?  Is this
desirable or not?  Any information would be very much appreciated.  Thanks.
