Gives me some incentive to return to my years-dormant 700CX with SS-16 
project (I have a set of good, NOS 8950 finals so the expensive part is

Mark the vfo is now working as It should,realigned all the bands with my 
sig gen and frequency counter. I think that someone tried to use the 508 
with another swan rig with a different IF.
