[Swan] HF-700S

The HF-700S was Swan's last "big rig".......that is, one that  ran 500-600 
watts input to a pair of tubes in the PA, and that required an  external 
power supply.   After the '700, Swan sold a few 350A and 350D  transceivers 
(about half the power, but AC supply was built in), and of course  the all 
solid-state stuff.   I've seen 3-4 HF-700S setups at hamfests  during the last 
couple of years.........prices (INCLUDING power supply) ranged  from around 
$150 for one that was in so-so shape to about twice that for one  that looked 
really nice and was said to be working properly.   Still  the same basic 
radio as the older 350/500/750, but "face-lifted" with a  different style 
cabinet, type of knobs, etc.
