I am new to this list and trying to figure out how to search the archives for a subject or keyword as in swan 350 power 117XC supply and cable. Any help would be greatly appereciated. Thanks.

I have just recently discovered a Swan 350 and 117xc power supply in a box I acquired from a SK here. I am excited about it and found a manual online. However, the manual I downloaded shows the 412 and the 117C power supplies and what I have is the 117XC. The schmatic does NOT match my power supply. Also i have not found the 18 pin power cablefor the supply. I have searched online and have not located anything for the 117xc PS excepting a youtube video on how to burn up the heaters on all the tubes by plugging the 18 pin poser cable to the power supply in while shifted a pin or two. No response from the author (yet).

I am wondering if someone has the schematic for the 117ZC power supply and the power cable with the 18 pin head that I do not have that I could get a copy of or at least the pin connections in the cable. Maybe even an extra cable for sale? Or the plug?

Also any suggestions for powering the unit up. I have partially redrawn the power supply schematic looking at the power supply but would obviously prefer the actual schematic as many of the wires are hard to trace and nothing is labeled including the pins on the plugs. The 117c PS does not ahve the 18 ping power plug at all (on the schematic).

As
1. turn on the power supply (by jumpering pin 1 to pin 2 in the radio plug) first while still disconnected from the radio and check the voltages.
2. Use a variac to power up the supply itself slowly the first time.
3. What else would you recommend?

Thanks es 73, de Jim KG0KP
