[Swan] tube testing

Bob,
  Probably the best way to test tubes used in the PA of any rig. I used to 
do the same, further matching them by measuring the voltage drop across the 
cathode resistors ( Drake ). A few years back I bought a Hickok 6000A tube 
tester and have gotten a feel for good tube, bad tube. I went through dozens 
of old and new 6JB6's throwing out the very weak and matching up pairs of 
good ones. I was surprised to find in some cases a pair that were replaced 
still had one good tube, like for some reason they aged or weakened 
differently.
