[Swan] FS: Swan Cygnet 270

Hello All,

I have a Swan Cygnet 270B with its matching DC converter for 12-14v
operation for sale.

This was my first transceiver, which my Dad purchased for me in 1976 when I
was a novice,I believe I am the second owner of this radio. I hate to part
with it, but I am going back to college, need to clean out the basement
before I move and want to find a good home for this fine rig. 

It will require some checking of the power supply capacitors as I had
reports of 60Hz noise on the carrier last time I used it and re-alignment of
the power O/P stage. The 270B Owner/Service manual is included.

The finish is good with some small scratches on the sides and small amount
of finger wear on the knobs and front panel.

I am asking $200.00, negotiable.

I prefer the buyer pickup the radio, but I will ship it anywhere in the US
if the buyer agrees to accept the risk.

I hope one of you fine folks that really care about Swan gear will be
interested and take advantage of this offer.
