Here's a repost of a message I sent on the subject from a year or so back:

Greetings fellow Swan collectors:

After having received my dd-76 manual from Brock Publications (whom I highly
recommend to all for excellent Swan manuals and service), I have identified
the display in question for my dd-76. It is a FND507 common anode seven
segment display. I am also happy to report to all that there currently
exists at least one source for inexpensive replacement displays. Jameco
Electronics (http://www.jameco.com) carries the FND507 display for $0.99 per
display in small quantities. Jameco has no minimum order amount (though you
must add $5 for any order under $20 to cover their handling.) I hope this
will help any of you also needing replacements for aging displays.
