[Swan] Looking for Info on CIR Astro 2000

Folks

I'm looking for information on an Astro 2000 radio. This radio was sold
under several manufacturers, notably Ratheon and CIR, who I believe is a
predecessor of Swan. 

There are a number of ads in QST for this radio, circa 1970-80.

Any information on history, parts, etc. would be appreciated.
