1. What is the proper impedance for the mic. on a Swan 250?
I have received so much advice I am lost. Presently using a D-104 which is
66 ohms. Have been told to use as high as 30K ohms!
Found a adapter from Heil & Radio Shack that take 600 ohms up to 30K ohms
for less than $20.00, but will have to seperate the mic. connector into two
seperate side (audio/ptt) which is not a big problem.
2. If I do switch to a 30K ohm mic. input will this (A) hurt the radio, (B)
improve the output power as providing more audio drive?
Hate to ask so many questions but I am new to Swan radios.

PS: FOR CW OPERATIONS, can the radio be set to TX via the PTT button for CW
TX? My logging software offers automated CW operations (TRLog).
