Wasn't there a bulletin about this on the TechRef page ?
Something about running a shielded cable between the 250
and the PS ? Seperate from the integral PS cable...
Has that fix been tried ?

I've moved my ext spkr jack to the rear of the 250 and am
done with it. No more hum due to PS fields. Or adjacent
conductor pickup.
