[Standard] C228A Repairs

Bill et al,

I realize this is a reply to a very old inquiry, but if it helps someone 
then it is timely.

I had one that would lose it's memory with other related problems and sent 
it to
David, N6HEV, www.davidakins.net for repairs and a week later he returned it
working better than ever.  Additionally, he explained the problems and his 
solutions
to them.  I highly recommend him and he is in Cypress, CA.
