[Standard] C5608DA High Power on 2M Problem

Bryce,
Thanks for the reply. The rig is on the bench and being fed into a Bird
dummy load with a Bird 43 in-line indicating no reflected power.
However, just to add some more information as to why the rig is on the
bench in the first place, the original problem while the rig was in my car
was that on 2m it suddenly would not transmit and it also seemed that the
receive level was down. I had this problem before and replaced a pin diode
in the output circuitry about a year ago. I have again replaced the pin
diode and it is transmitting again, albeit with the problem described in
my previous email.
It is also my suspicion that the high swr protection circuitry may be
contributing to the problem, which is why I was asking if anyone else had
a similar problem and might know how to fix it.
I am sending my reply to the reflector in case others reading this may
have the same question.
Thanks, 73,
Paul -- N4PD
