"Unrelated but still an anomaly, right now I am hearing slow motion
speech at 4818.292 AM mode. Recording it to possibly play it back at
normal speed."

I didn't hear it.

There were some children's toys about 15 - 20 years ago that recorded at
normal speed, then played back in slow motion after 30 seconds, a sort
of "top secret" way of communicating. I had one of the devices briefly,
it also had some sound affects buttons, silly things like doorbells,
whistling, buzzing noises, et cetera. I heard stories that hobbyists
played with them on the air, but I don't know if that would have been
low power license free services, as found around 27, 49, 150, 460, or
900 MHz, or activities similar to the more high powered pirate activity,
HF, will wide-ranging coverage. An interesting concept, if it now took
hold, almost two decades later, in the hope someone forgot.

Did you manage to get a recording, and speed it up?

Kurt
