Newport, Oregon is located right next to the Pacific Ocean.
Would that have any bearing on what signals could be received?
And what about the morse code that is interspersed througout?
First one is distant but the second one is clear as a bell.
What is that?
Thank you for any helpful feedback that you can provide.
I am only here to humbly learn.

I think the mystery of the 40m signal may be solved. It is a little hard to
make out in the most recent video of the signal, but you can see the same
"arrow" image present in a 5 kHz spread across multiple frequencies. So
this signal may actually be HUGE. Since any signal such as this should
NEVER be present in the amateur radio bands, it is considered to be an
"intruder" signal. I did some research online and I'm now starting to
wonder if this may be connected to the intruding OTH radar signal discussed
in this article:
http://www.arrl.org/news/over-the-horizon-radars-becoming-routine-visitors-on-amateur-hf-bands
<https://www.youtube.com/redirect?event=comments&stzid=UgyfKnaG5OZUOkDjYol4AaABAg&redir_token=9HGkQrTaES4YzbTeJUZW35yCisJ8MTU0NjUzMDQwOUAxNTQ2NDQ0MDA5&q=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.arrl.org%2Fnews%2Fover-the-horizon-radars-becoming-routine-visitors-on-amateur-hf-bands>
>From the article: "An “often long-lasting” Russian OTH signal about 13 kHz
wide is being heard on the 7000-7100 kHz segment of 40 meters and a
“Codar-like radar from the Far East” are being heard in the 7000-7200 kHz
segment as well as non-amateur CW transmissions."

And yes, Newport, Oregon is located on the west coast of the United States
right next to the Pacific ocean and in relatively close proximity to
powerful signals coming from China and even Russia.
