Sorry to burst your bubble, but this is not a numbers station.

What you have heard is an EAM transmission on the US military (USAF run)
HF-GCS (High Frequency Global Communications System) network.

The main frequencies used are 4724, 6739, 8992, 11175, 13200, and 15016 kHz,
in USB mode, typically simulcast (simultaneously transmitted on all
frequencies at the same time) on all frequencies. 6712 is used also, but
that is unlikely to be heard at your location. Often "discrete" HF freqs
carry this same traffic, and VHF/UHF/Sat freqs as well. On HF there are 13
transmission locations around the World, and often they are all active at
the same time carrying the same traffic.

These transmissions occur multiple times a day, every day of the year. The
transmissions are sent live, by enlisted ladies and gentlemen of the USAF,
and you can occasionally hear mistakes and corrections in them.

11175 kHz is the primary daytime frequency, and 8992 kHz is the primary
night freq.

Hi. Newby here to the list. But have heard numbers stations thru the years.
Finally logged one down. Here in Honolulu, 15.016 mhz USB @1933z. Woman's
voice stating "36 character........". Geez, right above WWVH, and S9+20.
Only caught the tail end but for what ever it's worth,

Gareth from Honolulu, HI.
