Hi All, Regarding material for OTPs. As far as I know either acetate 
sheet (burns) or rice paper (eatable or dissolves in water) were used 
from at least mid-1930s to current era for OTPs. My guess is the 
individual "sheets" were set up in some kind of hand press, inked and  
the two required impressions run off. A low tech, cottage industry type 
operation, with the minimum number of people having "need to know". Even 
if a error in setting up a group was made it would have been on both 
"sheets" so not really impacted the unbreakability of the enciphered 
text or the recovery of the plain textby the recipient.
