[Spooks] While hiking today

I have an Elecraft KX1 that I assembled a couple of years ago.  I don't use
it as much as I would like but I would suggest any similar kit to
enthusiasts, simply for the building 'experience.'  The KX1 has a fairly
broad Rx in addition to a capacity for 4-band Tx.

The real question here is what do you use for an antenna while
hiking/portable?  I bought a 20' expandable fiberglass fishing rod to
elevate my random wire (thinking NVIS configuration), but have yet to take
it out for testing.
